Here at Defined Baseball Academy, we are dedicated to our players physical, mental, and emotional development. With experience playing and coaching at the Professional, Collegiate, and Youth levels, as well as experience at Private Training Facilities around the country, we have seen and felt the impact good and bad coaching can have on players.

Through our Initial Analysis, we use industry leading technology to help identify our players biggest strengths and weaknesses to create custom player development programs that help build the skill, strength, speed, mobility, athleticism, and mentality to reach their Peak Performance.

We have seen too many kids and parents put too much emphasis on RESULTS without ever focusing on what drives results, a consistent PROCESS. Here at Defined, we want kids to define themselves by the hard work and dedication that drives confidence and success on the field. Our goal is to help athletes develop into hard working and accountable individuals on and off the field.

Who is Jacob Booden?
Hey, I’m Jacob Booden. I am a former professional pitcher with the St. Louis Cardinals. Was I highly scouted out of high school? No. Was I drafted out of college? No. Was I able to persevere through adversity, self doubt and create an opportunity for myself that some only dream of? Yes.
I am from the northern suburbs of Chicago and currently reside in Minneapolis, MN. Back in 2008, I signed my letter of intent to play baseball at Bradley University, where I went on to play for 4 years. Upon graduating from Bradley, I signed with the St. Louis Cardinals in 2012 as an UDFA (Undrafted Free Agent) which is when my professional career began.
